Ben, Since I have all this helpful information on "How To" on my Barient 18 one speed and my 2 speed 23 Barient....I need to ask you a question. You in a previous post asked me what kind of winches I had. That said, does Lewmar sell replacement parts for my winches? And if yes are the pawls and other parts identically the same size etc as the originals used from Barient? I am unsure if the winches have ever been apart. Who knows if I need bearings? The folks at West Marine are helpful as are the folks at Boat US. But generally their folks are not that knowledgebale about older model out of manufacture winches or parts for them. Can you give me some guidance as to where to get the parts if possible, aside from going to Australia. (I live in Mobile, Alabama...but will be driving through Corpus Christi, Houston, and New Orleans on the way back if there are places I could stop.) Thanks Frank Bean SV Blue Bird
