Need Trim Replacement For 1972 Irwin 37CC

I'm restoring an old Irwin. Between bulkheads and the F/G liner they used a sort of piping which was plastic encapsulated foam. It's quite flexible and can be made to fit odd shapes. The foam has turned to dust and the stuff looks awful.

What have others used to replace this stuff?

I have been looking for some white hose 1/2" in dia. But haven't found any.
