Need trailer for 24' 4,000 lb diplacment shallow draft also info on how to get the boat off the trailer, without a crane, onto boat stands for painting and centerboard removal. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Pierre
You should look for a Trail Rite trailer with Rollers. You can put the jack on, drop one set of rollers, then paint. I have a Capri 26 with a Wing Keel (5100 lbs) and the trailer I bought from(Fast Lane Sails) in San Diego was about 4,500 new. Good Quality You can loosen some bolts, and drop the support rollers on one of four supports. Good luck.
You might want to put a post on www.trailersailor.com to Shane Wallace. He has a Neptune 24, and if my memory serves me correctly, he got a new trailer for her about a year and half to two years ago. He's very active on site so you should get a response pretty quickly. --Hise
