My wife and I just purchased a Hunnter 22. the trailer that came with it is the pits and we need another one. We are having some trouble trying to figure out exactly what we need to buy and where we can find a good used trailer. All of the information on trailer sales websites is about power boats. Does anyone have any advice on what we should look for and any particulars we should be paying attention to. any help or assistance is appreciated. Jon

Went through the same thing last year when I bought my H22. Give them a call and they will give you a price. Due to the weight of the boat you are looking at a tandem with trailer brakes from what I was told, the surge type may due. I decided just to have it hauled and off season kept on the hard at the marina as I was not going to be trailer sailor with it. She's kept in a slip duirng season and ven to haul her home was only $225. I figured I could have her hauled for many years compared to the price of a trailer. happy sailing ~~__/) ~~

Performance trailers in Florida made many trailers for Hunter boats. The ones I have seen and the one I have is of excellent quality. I have attached a link to their dealer locator and you will see many dealers in your area who carry their trailers. Also, If you surf around their site you can see specs and photos of their different trailers for sailboats. Yours would be a small one. Good luck Ward

I purchased a trail n sail trailer made by road king. Model # RKGSK 20-22. Nice galvanized trailer with tongue extension and perfect for my fixed keel 22. If i had all the money in the world i would probably get the brakes added for a little more piece of mind. trailinsail.com Jim
