Need to Fix the centerboard line

The wire to rope line on my 78 center board on an oday 25 Rudy is sending me a new one Qustion? Will this cause a problem letting the board stay down till the weather is better in about 60 days and can this be corrected by 1. pulling the boat over at the dock and reaching the board or can it be corrected while the boat is on a traile used for a long fix board boat say a J 24 HELP

Trailer thoughts

I'd be concerned about hauling the boat on a trailer designed for a fin keel boat b/c it will be designed to take most of the load through the keel - your boat could fall off the screw jacks. Justin - O'day Owners' Web
