I'd like to get a Simrad TP20, as their prices have become very competitive. The problem I have is in knowing which "extras" I'll need. Does anyone know which extenders, brackets, etc. are needed for an H26? I checked with Simrad, thinking they must have a list of standards, but they don't.Thanks!

Free handheld remote

Did you see that Defender US is offering a free handheld remote with the TP20 and TP30.http://www.defenderus.com/cgi-bin/Web_store/web_store.cgi?frames=yes&store=yes&manufacturer=simrad&link=spec&cart_id=$429 for the TP20 with remote.I'm waiting on delivery of the Raytheon ST2000 I ordered from the. I went with the Raytheon because it has an LCD display. I figure the display may make the unit a little easier to use, plus maybe it even let's you see your heading per the flux gate compass. I also didn't know about the handheld remote offer on the Simrad stuff at the time I ordered.For the ST 2000 I ordered the 5" tiller bracket and the 3.5" pedestal mount.Ron Mehringers/v Hydro-Therapy

Yes, I saw and that was the deciding factor for me. Thanks for the dimensions of those parts. Now I have to see if Simrad has corresponding sizes. Planning to sail tomorrow!Thanks again...
