I believe aluminum tubing will do the job nicely. Find a boat like yours and copy the attachments to the mast and also the stay ends. Steve P.

If you call the Macgregor plant in Costa Mesa Ca. They will sell you a set for 45.00. I called for my Mac 25 and they have them. You can find thier number at Mac Website. Jerry

Don't go too thin on the tubing. Once you have the tubing pieces, you can install them with this nice rigid spreader base kit from BWY. They also carry replacement tips in metal or plastic.

Measurement?
Anyone happen to have the measurements right off. I do have the mounting hardware by the way. BWYachts is asking for the measurements. I want to see if I can make a pair for myself, what could i use for the end caps? thanks

Look in West Marine catalogue
Benjamin look in the West Marine catalogue. There are spreader ends of rubber that tape to the spreader and also cover part of the shroud. You could put spreader rollers on each outside end if you run a large jib or genoa to prevent sail damage too. Steve P.

Hey great idea. I had in the back of my mind to somehow work on how to prevent damage because of the big genoa. Will definately go with those rollers. Thanks
