After 17 years it is time to change them out. So I am looking for a recommendation for either Yanmar or aftermarket suppliers. Jim Oursler

Engine Mounts

I own the Legend 37 (1987)and had a very bad vibration and lots of noise. So we replaced the mounts with the Yanmar factory originals. For my engine (3HM35F)I went to the local ship store and ordered four of the 100's. I see in the manual that you need two 100's for the front and two the 75's for the rear. It solved all my problems the key is the alignment. If you notice were the shaft goes threw the boat it is round, but long it's important that the shaft not hit the top of the hole on the inside of the boat or the bottom on the outside. This is were your getting most of your noise. Good luck!! John Irvine "Silk Sheets"

Drive Saver

I have used this product on three boats and had excellent results. Not only do they reduce vibration, they also isolate the prop and shaft from electrolysis. On the negative side (in my case) sine they reduce so much vibes, one of my motor mount’s lock nut came louse. By the time I notice it the mount wan ruined, another $75 plus all the aggravation to replace it.... There not cheep about $400, I purchased mine from Defenders (good company, very helpfull).

Mack Boring

Mack Boring (www.mackboring.com) is probably the larget Yanmar parts supplier in the country. Swapped mine out about two years ago - they're not cheap (~$100 each).
