Specific boat is 1985 31' SF but I thought the Spinnaker pole loop track car that slides on the front of the mast might be the same used on other models. Anybody have any idea where I can find one of these? New, used, or even rebuilt is fine. Can't find a Hunter catalog anywhere (doe it exist?) or even a store that knows what I'm talking about. Please advise, Jay

Check the West Marine catalogue (or a store near you) - they've got 'em. Michael O'

Response to West Marine Input

Michael, Looked at West Marine, BOAT U.S., Port Supply, etc. catalogs and can't find the Hunter-specific track car. They have lots that fit on regular track but I haven't found one that installs directly on the mast. Any other suggestions? Jay

OOPS! You've Got the Track Only?

I misunderstood, thinking you were looking for BOTH a track and car set-up for the mast. Since I had spec'd the same from West Marine, I thought it would be a good lead. So, if you're looking for the car to fit your existing track...... I dunno. Guess I'd contact Hunter directly to get the manufacturer, if they know. Good Luck! Seriously.... Michael O'

ISOMAST

Jay, It sounds like you have an ISOMAST brand mast with integral pole tracks formed into the forward part of the mast. I had to get new bushings for the one on my 91 37.5 and know they are hard to find. I contacted Zahniser's Marina on Solomons Island, MD and they located them through one of their cataloges. I saw the book briefly and the cars themselves were listed but I don't remember the price. You will need the width of the tracks when you order the car, there were several sizes, and it took several weeks to arive. I think they came from overseas. Anyway, the number is 410-326-2166 and ask for Sharkey. Tell him it is for the same kind of setup as he ordered for my Mutual Fun. You will also need the bushings (order at the same time) and there are a couple of shackles (Boat-US) at the top and bottom for the up-down hauls. There is a single 1/2 inch long stainless machine screw at the bottom to the track that holds the unit in place and that must be missing also or uou sould still have the car. Good-luck Les s/v Mutual Fun
