My 4 hp Suzuki outboard stalls while I'm coming into the marina. All I do is pump the bulb and it starts right back up. Any suggestions? I don't like worrying about having no power in the marina!
In addition it could be the fuel line has deteriorated inside and pieces are acting as check valves. In addition to these possibilities, a weak fuel pump or obstructed filter will act up at higher RPM. (If the problem is occurring only at lower RPM, then the pump and filter can be eliminated.)
