Need some help with a leak

I've got rain water coming in to my Hunter 356 below the forward starboard triangular window. I'm sure it's not the window that is leaking but can't find the source. I've soaked the deck with a hose and can't cause the leak but when it rains the water enters. Anyone have any ideas?

I had some mystery leaks on my boat as well. I cured them by rebedding the handrails, the bolts that hold the under deck sheaves, and by filling and redrilling the screw holes that hold the deck plates and the solar panel in place.

How do you know it's not coming in from your portlight? It could be making it's way in until it hits the liner and dripping down. I had these kind of leaks on my boat until I either replaced and/or resealed all my portlights. Also, check your toerail. Mine only leaked during a heavy rain. All my toerail nuts were loose by at least a couple thread pitches.

Well you know for sure the leak is originating on the starboard side and from a location higher than where it is showing. The water is probably running inside the liner from a point aft or forward from the spot. You may try hosing the whole starboard side of the cabin and toe rail all the way to the bow. Soak it starting from the leak spot in sections concentrating on the deck fixtures, portholes, stanchions, handrails, deck organizers, windows, hatches, etc. Allow some time between sections for the leak to develop and show itself.
