Over the winter the overhead hatch in the head began leaking and since we got 108 inches of snow when it started to melt leaked into the cabin. When I was finally able to get aboard I had about 4 inches of ice on the cabin Floor. And all the bilge was solid ice. The end result is I got water and ice in the transmission and it is now junk. I am trying locate a bell housing or bell housing and transmission and I am not having much luck. I have a universal M25 with Hurth hbw-50 transmission. Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Need some help locating parts.

Getting water or ice in the transmission does not turn it into junk.
Have someone that is very familiar with this transmission look it over.
If when the water froze in the transmission it cracked the cast iron housing that should be replaced. Very unlikely the bell housing would crack. Can you post some pictures?

They don't make the 50 anymore. The ZF10 will bolt up but is one inch longer you will have to slide the shaft back.
