Hi, I am nearly finished restoring my '71 Venture21. I have a main sail, but need others. At least a jib. Can anyone recommend where I can purchase sails for this model? Not looking to spend a fortune, as this is my beginner sailboat. Thanks.
I recently purchased a Venture too. First thing I did was call MacGregor and they mailed me the manual and a page with sail sizes/dimensions. Then I used a search engine (www.google.com) to search for sail manufactures. I think there are sail makers listed in the back of most sailing mags as well. I haven't purchased any to date but did see a few used sail companies. That's probably going to be your best bet. Good luck. Bob (Priates Up!)
