I am getting tired of climbing around to release the topping lift when I have the bimini up on my 34. What is recommeded for an economical rigid vang?

Anti-Topping Lift

Just like you I got tired of messing with the topping lift. Bought a Boomkicker from Seoladair in Ill. Works great and I have a bimini too. Their telephone number is 1-800-437-7654.

Garhauer

Take a look at Garhauer Marine. They can be found a garhauermarine.com. I think that a rigid vang for your size boat is about $300. They have a 10 Yr. warranty on their product.

yeah, Garhauer

Hey Steve, Practical Sailor rated the Garhauer real well with it's only drawback being it's a little heavier than the others. I'm going to install one on my boat this winter. Give em a call at 909.985.9993or www.garhauermarine.com. They don't do a lot of slick advertising so that they can keep thier costs down. Good Luck, Dan on Serendipity Too

Garhauer Too

Installed one on our 310 and it has been great. No longer have to worry about lazy jacks holding boom (they left off the topping lift on the 310).and getting in the way when raising main. The mechanical advantage is very good I think about 20 to 1. I agree with previous post it is heavier than others but it is definetly a good value.
