Need Rebuilt Universal 5411!!!

just got a beautiful 1979 Catalina 30, but the motor is RUSTED SOLID! Not possible to salvage. Space constraints seem to require replacing it with the exact same model - if I can find it. Has anyone been here before or can you reccommend good places to search? Thanks A Heap! -Alison

Here's one that may work

Universal M-15, 2 cylinder 11HP, $1200.00 562-424-7076. I think this model replaced the 5411, and is freshwater cooled. Hope this helps.

info I just found out

I was told friday by a Cat. dealer that the Universal engine is really a Kubota engine or it is built by them, he said look for a dealer for spare parts. Maybe a rebuilt? Good luck Dean
