Hello, I am looking for a replacement for a broken plastic fuel cap, which I think is Swedish. It is from an American made Catalina 30 sailboat, made in 1988. I think the cap is Swedish, because the cap says Fuel and Bränsle. This type of cap is tightened with a winch handle, and the diameter is about 3–7/16”. The threaded portion is about 1-3/4”, although I suspect it’s metric. Do you know where I might find such an item? I’d be interested in a waste and a water fill cap of the same style, too. (I couldn't see how to post a photo of my cap.) Thank you very much. Tim Mason 206 852-5417 timmason@mindspring.com

I purchased water, fuel and waste caps last year from Catalina Direct for an 89 Cat 30. The replacements are plastic and seal very well. The important part is the rubber O ring under the cap. The only issue with the parts is that the Black (waste) and Red (fuel) faded pretty badly over the course of one season. The Blue (fresh water) held up very well. In fact I re-ordered the fuel and waste and should be receiving the new parts today.
