Hello, I need a picture of the cocpit table's leg and how it attaches to the bottom of the table. I have the table but no leg and no attachment for it. Any one have a camera close? Also a measurment of the length of the leg would be helpful for fabrication purposes. I appreciate anyone's help on this. I thought I would try you guys before calling Hunter. I would also be interested in a set of instructions for the boom workings. Basically how to set up the reefing and the topping lift. A fellow sailor gave me some guidance which I appreciate but neither of us have instructions for the boom and are going by reckoning here. Thank you, Jim Hiebl Joint Venture XXII

Conduit Hanger
I just made a table for my hunter 22, 1981 and used an electrical conduit hanger plate with a 3/8 inch thread ID. I got it a Home Depot and cost around $2.00. I added a couple of rubber bumpers on either side of the place so it would not make contact with the stern cockpit. The hanger is about 1/2" thick with screw holes on either side of 3/8 bolt hole. Used short flat head wood screw to mount to underside of table.

I didn't like the choices for support because if rust etc on a boat. I made mine out of 3/4 oak and put 2 hinges on each. Since I made mine from scratch the top has a 7/8 inch overhang. The supports fold flat under the table and swing out when needed. I put a little feelt on the top end of the support.

Two Hinges on each one.
That should be 2 hinges on each one, and not each side. The hinges have to both be on the same side of the support or it wouldn't fold in.
