My O'Day 37 has PYHI Ports. Lots of them--and they all leak! I ralize they all need new rubber gasktes to seal the windows. The existing gaskets are 1/4 diameter, but they are all flattened from tightening. Any ideas on what manufacturer might sell replacements that would fit and do the job??? In addition, becuase I've tightened the knobs to close them extra tight, several of them have broken or cracked. Any suggestions on where to find replacement parts for this particular port. I have found no trace of PYHI as a company. They must have gone out of business like so many other O'Day suppliers. Thanks for any suggestions, AJ

Just installed "new old stock" PYHI ports on my 37 this spring. I got them from a marine "discount and closeout" specialty store. I wish I would have gotten better ports! But for $36.00 a piece I guess they will do for a few years. Anyways I needed screens for mine. I called Boat/US special order department and they called PYHI, only trouble is they only had four screens in stock for this size port and they wanted $25.00 EACH! I would try boat/us special order dept and good luck, so far I'm using some of the old ports screens and trying to fabricate some new ones. The screens they sell for other brands, beckson, bomar didnt fit but could be made to fit. I think these PYHI ports parts will interchange with beckson, like the screws and rubber gaskets. If anything you could always buy a roll of O-Ring Buna rubber and cut your own gaskets. happy sails~ howie s/v freewill

Silicone

AJ- I too have PYHI ports on my O'day 28. As far as bedding etc. these ports can be bedded from the outside and it works well. The O-ring material window gasket is another matter. Due to the age of my boat I know that the life of them are limited so I treat them with silicone gel. This stuff is available at home builder supply stores (Lowes, etc.) and comes in a squeeze tube. Simply apply it with your finger tip until all of the seal is coated and wipe off the excess with a clean cloth. This stuff is great for neoprene and rubber. Atually brings it back to life and prevents deterioration. Good luck, Mike
