Ran aground this weekend and broke my swing keel in half on my 1982 22 foot Hunter sailboat. Any suggestions on where I could purchase a new one or maybe a used one? Thanks in advance. Brent Boulet
If you did, then you can repair the thing. All you need is a right angle grinder, some 25 grit disks, a couple of quarts of resin and five pounds of glass cloth and chopped strand mat.
Thanks a lot for the info. Would still like to look for a new one. If I have no luck with that, I'll try to repair mine. I was able to retrieve the broken piece. It broke off at the pivot point with a clean break.
They are the OEM manufactures of the centerboard. I believe this subject has come up before. If you check the archives, you will find more info than you ever will need to know.
