need new genoa sheet blocks for a 1983 h-22

I am looking for a harware source for Hunter 22's. I need new Genoa sheet blocks that are mounted on the sides of the cockpit. The sheaves are shot and won't even hold a sheet. Anyone got any ideas? Jim Hiebl Double Duece

Have you tried speaking with Hunter Marine. I have had good luck tracking down part information and sources on my H22 by call Hunter Marine directly. Let us all know what you come up with. I'm sure I'll need a set of those blocks someday also.

Schaefer Marine

A lot of the OEM hardware on my H23 is made by Schaefer Marine. Since the H23 was the successor to the H22, I suspect your hardware may be Scheafer too. However, if the sheave is just bolted to the deck, i.e., not on a sliding track that you absolutely have to match, then you can replace it with anything you want. In that case, I'd recommend either Garhauer or Harken. Good luck. Peter H23 "Raven"

I replaced the old ones on my H22 with very similar ones from Schaefer (not exact matches but almost)

Here's some info

The Garhauler cheek block #25-21 SB or the 30-21 Sb are almost look alikes. For $50.00 plus shipping they arn't that bad price wise. Any one know how much the Schaeffer blocks are? Thank you for all the advice I really appreciate your help! Jim Hiebl
