Need new 2" diameter rudder-post head for 1979 H27

Hi all,

I have been looking for a new rudder-post head for our 27. The bolt holes on the original have widened from wear to the point where one of them has worn all the way through and is open on one side (where the bolt holds the head onto the rudder post). I have not been able to find one so I just sent out the old one to be molded and re-cast in silica bronze by a local CT foundry, but I can still pull the plug on that project.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these pieces? It's the head piece on the top of the rudder post that the tiller connects to.

An Edson would work, but they do not make them for a 2" rudder post (1.5" is their max size). The other sources you posted do not have them either.

Did you call these other sources? They have tons of stuff that is NOT listed on their website.
