Mast broke during huricane Sandy, need a suitable replacement. Kenyon B&R rig 46' tall, double swept back spreaders, 4.8" X 7.3" base. Will consider any suitable replacement.

I have a isomat mast off of a '87 legend 35' .. I have most of the shrouds and stays, turn buckles . I also have a Kenyon boom, its 12' though.. but I have the gooseneck and everything.. the mast is exactly what you need .. its a fractional rig , dbl spreader.. it needs a sleeve, I already priced the sleeve for $450 direct from the manufactuter to get it up and running.. you need new halyards and wiring for mast lights .. with a little love she'll live another day .. I can sell you everything as is for $1000.. or I can get the sleeve have the whole thing completed( rigging and all for cost)..I see you live on long island (I think?)..ill deliver it to you as well for a couple of bucks extra

Knot/Capt C: $450 for a sleeve?

It is doubtful that anything will fit from your 35 on the 34 (other than the mast). Seco South is a great place to get the new rigging. Capt. C could have them make up the ends on the higher locations and have a rigger make up the lower fittings.

hey guys..

$450 sleeve was quoted direct from rig rite (who owns isomat), as for the rigging, steve? is correct, I would think that all the stays and shrouds would have to be shortened . which would involve cutting the wire at the proper length and re-attaching the pin for the turn buckle ..which is common practice..

I would think interested parties would agree that paying $1500- $2000 for an entire rig is a steal .. when if you had a quote from the manufacturer you would know it would be 12k -15k

I'm interested, but where does it need a sleeve? Can you send me a couple of pictures? I might be able to come have a look if you're close enough. I'm in Bayville NJ, but the boat lies in Morgan Marina in Lawrenceville NJ. You can send pix to my direct e-mail at captaincoconut@excite.com, or give me a call on my cell 908-930-4623. I'll be working night shift for the next three weeks, so if you call, either make it in late afternoon, or leave a message.
