I have a Capri 25 that I am interested in "dry sailing" (keeping out of the water on the trailer). Our yacht club has a crane but the boat has no lifting eye. How do you lift a Capri 25 with a single point lifting crane?
Your boat has a lifting eye socket. It is in the aft part of the keel well. You thread in a threaded eye with a cable with ring around the lifting cable. Attached to the ring are three lines two attach to the cabin top winches and the other attaches to the mast boom vang shackle. You need to put out board in the cabin or off the boat to get it to balance.
