Need info on US 25 by Batliner

Just bought another project boat, a 1980 US 25 made by Bayliner. Anybody out there with an owners manual or other info that I could get a copy of. The boat has no sails or motor, and has had standing water inside so the interior is quite rotten. But, for $50 I thought I'd take a chance. Reply here or email me at redboatrick@yahoo.com. As one who has experience with project boats...

You're gonna have to gut the hull and start from scratch, so manuals aren't likely to do you any good. That's the bad news.The good news is, by the time you're finished, you'll have learned more about boat construction and systems than 99% of boat owners will EVER know (even want to know, actually...which is a shame). It'll be the best $50 you ever spent!Drop by the rec.boats.building newsgroup with questions. The answers can be all over the wall sometimes, but the people there are either building boats from scratch or rehabbing project obats in various states of disrepair, and it's one of the few remaining newsgroups that still has a low noise/value ratio. And btw, Phil...the Halloween special was the Bathunter! ))
