Need info on the two diferent transums on 33.5

Hi, I am looking to purchase a Hunter 33.5 and have noted that their seems to be two diferent transum designs; one has a more open transum with lockers built into the swim platform (1989?) and the other just has an opening for the swim ladder (1988?)I am trying to find out if the change is based on model, year or what? if anybody can enlighten me, that would be great. Swim Platform

Tony,Not sure about earlier models. Our 92 has a removable helm seat that you then walk through and down to the swim platform. We have lockers on both sides of the walk through space on the swim platform. Hope this helps.Gary WyngardenS/V Shibumi H335

Tony Our 89 is the same as Gary W. discribed except we have only one openable locker on the starboard side and a step on the port side. Two lockers would be nice.  george Wilson SV Bliss H 335

not the only difference

The salon settee and table shape were changed to a U-shaped affair, and the port lights were changed to the familiar trapoezoid shape on newer Hunters. These changes took place in the 1989 model year, but the 1988 models are more reasonably priced.
