I have a 1974 E-25, but I didn't get the mast crutch when I bought the boat. I have raised and lowered the mast with the correct rigging, but I had to raise the mast to about 20 degrees to connect the mast raising stays to the boom. When I lowered the mast I forgot about the angle and dropped it to the bow pulpit. Needless to say $144 later I have new stays to replace the broken ones. So I need a crutch to lift the mast up to the required 20 degrees prior to lifting it up and also to catch it on it's way down when lowering it. I have looked at all the literature on my boat and it doesn't have a closeup photo of the crutch or indicate how it is positioned on the bow when raising and lowering. Please help me if you can. Thanks paul
