need info on Columbia 34 Mark II

Am looking at a Columbia 34 MII Miami, FL and am seeking info on possible weak points or areas to look out for before purchasing. I suspect that foredeck this model may be prone to 'soft' spots - Any input on this or anything else I should look for?? I have sailed the 24 & 43, but never on a 34. Any, any input much appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone!

Hello! I own a 34 Columbia (1973 Mark II), and it did have some soft areas on the foredeck when I purchased it. A thorough inspection during the survey will reveal any areas. I love the room aboard it and it makes a great live aboard. Good Luck with your new boat. Lu Ellen
