Need hunter 376 genset install photos

Hello all,

I have a Hunter 376 that I am thinking of adding a genset to. I'm trying to find some pictures of the optional factory installed genset so I can try to get a feel for exactly how they wedged it in the stern lockers. Can someone that has one of these please post some photos?

Here is a stock install of the 6.5KV genset that is installed in my 376. It is a very tight fit as you can see.

just a word of caution ...that link belt will wear through that water pump pulley...you may want to carry a spare pulley just in case ...those belts are great when used on a cast pulley but no so great when on a stamped steel or aluminum pulley as i said just a word of caution

Thanks for the info. That was PO installed so I will swap it out and keep it as a spare.

The belt that is being refered to is the factory belt used by Phasor marine generators and comes installed from the factory. I have the same belt and the same generator and have never had a problem. Just saying........................

Well Heck!

You just got's to love the Internet. Know I don't know whether to change the belt out or not. I guess I will call Phaser tomorrow and ask what they think. Thanks for all the info.
Here I was just trying to help a guy out with some photos and now I'm all stressed out if I should start carrying extra pumps and pulley's along with all the other full sets of spares already on board :-D.
