Could someone please post a photo or diagram of the cable steering layout...I need to know how the wires connect from the steering post arm, go through the pulleys and end up at the pedestal. Thanks in advance.

The Edson site will give you a good overview: http://www.edsonmarine.com/marinestore/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=84_91_255_256 . Mine is similar to the picture. But I have a 'radial wheel' where a 'quandrant' is shown in the picture. With a radial wheel the cable does not require the aft sheaves(pulleys). Instead the cables go directly from under the pedestal around the sheaves there and then straight to the radial wheel. If you wander around through the Edson catalog you will see all the parts.
