Need help with my Oday Widgeon *!

I've just bought this Oday Widgeon and its my first sail boat. It did not come with the sails and I have no clue as to what size sails I need. My boat is 14ft and the main post is 20ft. Please help with this if you have any idea at all.

Jonathan,Look at D & R Marine.com they sell everything for the O'Days. You can also tell most sailmakers what year and model your boat is and they will have a database with all the dimensions. Good luck.

you need to measure the distance from the mast to the end of the boom, less 6", and distance from boom mount on the mast to the top of the mast, less 6". this will give you idea what to look for, hobie 14 main sail might fit till you find the proper fit or get a new one. check this site in the owners part for a owner and contact them. the 6 inches just gives you space to stretch the sail out when raised, and should be overlooked if proper sail is found and measurements are a bit different.

as noted elswhere, if your boat is 14', it isn't a widgeon, it is a javelin, and a world of difference between the two.
