and re-seal everything with a silicone adhesive sealant (marine grade). I would fill the through holes and cover the contact surfaces with the stuff, and put everything back together. Regards,Ted
I would recommend using 3M's 4200 instead of silicon. The reason is 4200 actually adheres to the surfaces of the parts being joined, while silicon really doesn't. You'll eventually get a leak sooner using silicon.
