Need help with keel and trailer

I have a unique opportunity to save a 1985 Catalina 22 from a certain death. I need help finding a used keel and used trailer. Does anyone know of a West Coast rental company that will rent a Cat. 22 trailer? Better yet, somewhere that might have used trailers or keel's. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.Regards,Crowe

No keel?

Are you looking for a swing or fin keel? There has been some mention of salvage keels here recently. Actually, I know where a swing is, but the man wants to sell the whole boat...or what he has left of the boat (it is missing everything except for the hull and keel). Check out the archives. As for the trailer, maybe try some local fleets and see if anyone has one they will rent (that is what I did).

number when I am down there later this week. Maybe you can talk him into selling you the keel, shipping it, and making a underwater reef out of the hull??? For what he is asking ($750 I think), it may be worth a shot vs. the $3000 a new one will cost you. I will email you the number this week.
