Core needs to be checked
I strongly suggest that you check you core to see if its wet, if it is there are two ways to fix it depending on the condition of it now. To check your core have a surveyor check it with a moisture meter. If you just want this done, no write ups no in-depth survey it shouldn’t be too expensive if the surveyor lives near by. If its wet he will probably give you some suggestions on how to fix it. I would drill a few small holes in a wet area and check the core that comes out on the drill. If its rotten the easiest thing to do is to have someone take up that section and recore it. If its just wet and there is no sign of compression by the mast you can leave these holes open and maybe drill a few others and let it dry out over the winter then after its dry fill the holes with epoxy and a little jell coat or other while filler and your done. Over-drill the faster holes for the mast step to a larger size, then fill with epoxy and redrill the correct size, this will seam the holes so that any future leak will not get into the core. Seal the mast step with 5200.
