Hello I'm new to this whole sailing thing and my sails were stored for the winter but I want part of takeing them down I have standered rigging and need helpful (video if possible) imformation on how to put the sails on the rigging! thank you for your reply's and any help you may be able to offer.

Sailing is a great sport - in my view, the greatest. You don't need to be a genius to do it, but a little knowledge goes a long way. I suggest you either go the library or bookstore and get a basic sailing book, or better yet, sign up for a learn to sail course run by ASA, US Sailing or your local Coast Guard Aux. unit.
There is no "standard" or "basic" rig for a sailboat. All are different, but if you let us know the make and size of boat, we can probably help.

Are they hanked on (little snap hooks on the front of the sail) or do they have a cloth flap running the Luff for a furler? We need more info on what you're dealing with. Digital photos of the sails would help as would boat info.
