I am in desperate need of information leading me to find a new alternative to the old rusted cast iron swing keel on my 19 ODay Mariner. The boat is in great shape other than the keel. Would very much like to upgrade and or repair the keel , so I can get her back in the water! Please help with any info ! Thanks brant.harp@gmail.com

Joe, The current maker of the Mariner, Stuart Marine (www.stuartmarine.net), has replacement CB listed on their parts list. They are pricey thought...I believe in the $700 range. There is also good info on rehabilitating rusted boards at the U.S. Mariner Association's web site (www.usmariner.org). Just do a search on rust and centerboard or keel. Good luck, Dan
