hello bill, galleys are few and far between. it took a year to find my galley. if you run across one consider any condidtion. i havn't been looking but i havn't seen another advertised.good luckjohn

Isn't a "galley" a place for preparing food in a boat and how do you replace one?

Don, I suspect he's looking for the sliding unit

on the starboard aft part of the cat that has the sink and stove. It slides out of the way when not in use. Pretty slick actually, but they don't make them like that anymore.B

Have a sliding galley

Bill, I have a 1983 cat 22 and it has the sliding galley unit. It slides up under the starboard cockpit. It has a spot for the stove, (which I don,t have) and a sink that drains into the centerboard trunk via a funnel looking recess molded into the starboard seat bottom.Don,t know if sink pump works cause I've never used it.I dont,t even have the boat yet, it is to be delivered mid April. I can tell you the unit looks perfect with no damage to the finish. I doubt it was ever used. Whether it would work in your boat is a question only Catalina can answer. As I understand, the boat was virtually unchanged during these years. The only catch I see is that you are in Florida and I am in Ohio.I'll let it go for $400.00 as I need the cash to fix up my new-old boat. I haven't a clue how to get it to you though!
