I need to replace the three blocks on my Mac25. I am new to sailing and would like some advice on what blocks to buy to replace them. There are two on the stern of the boat and one on the mast. Any help would be appreciated.

harken or ronstan

are your best choice, and you might need to mix. WM doesn't seem to carry all of the items, but those are the two best.

Happy w/ Ronstan

I've used a combination of Ronstan, Harken, and Schafer on replacement and mods. Thus far, I think Ronstan is the best value for the $$. There are good dealers on eBay which can beat WM's price day in/out. Garhauer's prices are hard to beat as well, I've just not wound up buying any Garhauer equipment that I can think of. If you are talking about blocks for the rudder or engine lift, those were apparently made by Mac and will require drilling out the rivet and replacing the sheave. I had no luck finding any blocks just like those from any manufacturer.

Blue water yachts, seatle. WA. They had all the original part replacement for my Mac 25. The one of the mast is actually bolted to the mast on mine. I did not want to get into rigging up a new system, found them and they were a great help. YOu will have to call, but you can get the numbers from their web-site. bwyachts.com good luck Kevin
