Need batten source

We have a 2002 356. Don't ask me how but somewhere out on Lake Michigan the other day in 15 kts we lost our longest batten!! I have searched the Internet for a replacement with no success. It was fiberglass material approx 1/4" thick with tapered edges and 10' length. If anyone could point me to a source that would be great.

Try a local sail loft or contact Somerset Sails in NY, http://www.somersetsails.com/ they are probably not that from away from you, not sure where you are sailing in the Great Lakes.

Most any sailmaker should be able to supply you with whatever batten you need. Or, any good chandlery/sailboat store I get them from Bainbridge, or other sources.
