Hi, I am living aboard with my significant other and our engine is currently not running due to what we believe to be the thermostat housing (md7a) volvo penta....... I am sending out an SOS hoping that someone will have one kicking around. Apparently they are now obsolete and unavailable:cry:Anybody that could help in this situation would make me

Try the discussion board on oldmarineengine.com. There

are people there who will help you as they deal with antique (pre-1940) marine engines but they help a lot with newer but obsolete engines also.

Have you checked

Have you looked on ebay. There are regularly parts and pieces there from people parting out older engines, and sometimes dealers cleaning out their obsolete parts section. You might also try to cross referance parts, as many times virtually the same part is used on various models, even if the part # is different.
