I have a 1970 Cat-22, hull number 9, that I am thinking about putting up for sale. It needs some work, mainly rigging, broken spreader, traveller, aestetics - hull is solid and boat is dry inside. Also has newly refinished

Hard to say

I would say $1500 is a decent starting point. More if it has a good motor, maybe less if no motor. Expect to get less in the winter. I'd do some searches on the web to see what they're going for. What are they going for in your area? LaDonna

boat value

I bought a 78 cat 22 this summer and paid 1250.00 for it. It had no trailer but it came with a four stroke honda 7.5 outboard. The main is in fair shape and it has two jibs. I thought it was a good price and so far the only real problem is in the wiring. I got it late in the summer and I plan to have it ready to sail in the spring. I had to come up with a trailer and make some mods to it but it is at home now where I can work on it through the winter. My 10 year old daughter and I have been sleeping on it in the yard. Good luck with your boat.
