I folks. Took out the forward starb window on a 1976 24' c&c. Need to find the gasket that seals the window. Any ideas where to get one?

Window gasket for C&C 24

Contact South Shore Yachts. They have replacement parts for the older C&C models. They should have the gaskets you're looking for. Make sure you're seated when they give you prices.

I once sealed a leaking window on my old C&C 24 using plumber's putty. I think window spline would work well, too. These are great good old boats....

My old C&C 27 used regular "Window Spline" from a glass shop. Just had to match the size.

I'll second what Vic recommends. It's the same stuff they use to hold glass into storm windows. Under the plexiglass you'll need to make a gasket from 1/8" X 1/4" closed cell foam weatherstripping found at any hardware store. Be sure to clean out the old track really well. I also found that it helped to drill a small hole on the side of the bottom flange of the aluminum frame to let water drain out.
