Need a trailer!!

Hi,

If anyone has an old trailer that they don't need, I'm looking for one.

I am having to move to a new job, and I need a way to either bring her with me or sell her.

If I do sell her, I should say that I looked at Vega's for many months before flying out and picking this one. It is covered with new everything from the sails to the new inboard.

I would rather find a trailer than sell her, though.

dont sell your boat. in downeast maine there is a woman welder who will built a trailer for a vega for maybe $3000.00 or a bit more. she built a trailer a few years ago for a herreshoff s boat, about the same size as a vega but lighter & narrower for i think $2500; it was road worthy, brakes, lights, the works. whereever you are you can find someone who can put a trailer together. the expensive part is getting a truck to pull it. or you can hire a boat hauler to move it. these vegas are really great boats, and a refitted one will last for years & years. i think they are very under-priced for the dependable boats they are. i wouldnt trade mine for a hinkley, which was an option at one point.
