Still looking for a replacement trailer for my Mac. Can anyone give me some info on their trailers. I.E. make and model number. Measurements ect. I was trying to get a new one from Havencraft but I have had no luck. Any info on another source on the east coast would be great. I have tried local Mac dealers and some trailer mfgrs with no luck. Most trailer companys want to sell you a full blown sailboat trailer. Way over kill. Thanks Bob W.

Mac 25 trailer

If nothing turns up, I would consider getting the closest basic spring/bunk frame from EZLoader or ShoreLand'r and getting it customized down in Manassas or somewhere, copying someone's original. They don't seem a very complicated design, as long as the balance is correct. You probably tried Coastline Trailers for used ones? (And the cheapest way may be to buy a used 25 and sell the boat off.)

Want to have one built?

Bob - The students at my College's welding shop reinforced my trailer for me a few weeks ago when I bought my boat out of Wilmington NC. The head instructor told me they could build me a new one for around $500 in materials (very common steel sizes). If you decide to have one made, we can arrange a phone call and I'll walk around my trailer and call off the measurements for you.
