Please help!
I just received a DONATED 1978 Catalina 22 fixed keel sailboat for my nonprofit to use to help teach disadvantaged kids how to sail and I need to move it from where it is now to our lake here in Marble Falls, Texas.
I am new to sailing myself and the donor, although he can sail, does not know if the fixed keel is a wing or fin.
I have found just ONE fixed keel trailer near Lake Travis (where the boat is) here in Texas. But it's expensive and even if our nonprofit could afford it I am not sure if this fixed keel trailer is set up to carry both the 36 inch keel and 48 inch keel.
If it's a 1978 Catalina 22 which fixed keel is it most likely to be, the 36 inch or 48 inch? And where could I find a trailer to rent/borrow for a day or get donated??
I hate to just walk away from this fun boat that could do so much for the kids I am trying to help.
