Need a tach for my 27 hunter Yanmar sve8

Pick up this boat late last yr. and have been working on it for about 6 month now. I've been working the big ticket items 1st and now the list is down to the small things ( may be not in price - replace water pump with new one $600. ). Well the boat did not come with a tack and would like to buy one.
The engine is a Yanmar one cylinder. Would like to put it in org. hole.

Has anyone had to do this? and if so who did you get the tach from and at what price.

I have a 1981 27 with the y8. I to thought of a tach. My reply from mechanics was, " its a 1 cly, count the revs yourself if its that important. Beyond that. the small inst panel that u have without tac is 750$ without harness. I can only imagine what the large (with tach) panel cost. According to the Yanmar shop manuel, which I have, the engine can b run at 100%, ie 3600 rpm, therefore 75% being 2700 rpm etc.
