need a holding tank for 39 ft. Beneteau

Bought a used Beneteau 39 ft made for Carribean charter and has no holding tank. Need to
install one for use on Great Lakes. Has anyone had this experience and what is the best
location to try to install a tank??

My boat has two heads, forward and aft; the aft head is more a storage locker than head, and we use the forward head (rarely have overnight guests) but the holding tank is in the forward equipement compartment, mounted on a shelf. It's only 12 gallons and would like a larger, but have learned to make do.
