Can someone reccommend a good tiller extension for a 23.5. My old one has bitten the dust. I need one long enough to be able to sit in my stern rail seats and still steer the tiller. Thanks, Jonathan

Check out Ronstan

When I replaced my original on a 240, I got the adjustable length Ronstan. The longest one makes the reach from the stern rail seets really easy. You'll enjoy it. -Ed

Or the Forespar

I have the Forespar twist-lock (104017) entendable. It reaches the stern rail seats on my H23.5 and shortens enough for sitting on the seats. I have the TFP quick-release so I can remove it easily. It installs with only a hole in the top of the tiller pipe. The Sta-Fast has adjustable tension so you can let go and the extender stays put instead of just dropping down. That could be handy but I didn't think much about it at the time. Ronstan

I switched to the Ronstan 3134 telescoping extention when I added the stern rail seats to my 23.5. I have no problem with using from the stern seats and it collapses so it isn't a problem when sitting on the main seats. It snaps into a bracket on the tiller so it can be removed easily.
