Need a furler for my 1979 h-30 -which is best?

I need to buy a furler,i have a totally stock boat and the furler must clear the transom. any ideas?have one for sail? thanks

I am a bit confused by your question. Are you talking about a roller fulrer for the Jib, or main, or something else entirely? I have a roller furler on the jib of my 81' H30. I forget what brand it is, but it is not one of the major ones I see. It works well though, and was on the boat when I acquired it in December of 2000.

just put one on a H25

I bought a CDI for my 25' from the outfit in at the attached link. Some decent furler/sail package discounts. I'm totally happy with the CDI (took about 3 hours to install - not bad for never having done it before). They carry all the major brands. My opinion about furlers in general is whoever invented the technology should have been awarded the Nobel Prize. Checkout the link. Dennis
