Need a door - where can I get one?

Do you know where I can get a new anchor locker door for an H45? The one on my boat came loose in heavy seas and smashed itself into non-repairable pieces. I can't find anything of the proper size in local chandleries or in any catalogs. It's a folding, louvered door of sort of an odd size. I don't have the tools or the skills necessary to actually make a new one. Thanks! Michael Cohn

Michael -If I'm understanding you correctly the door you need is the teak louvered door which is in the shower/head of your H45? I've just been told that Hunter cannot make or tell me where to get a door...any other ideas?MC

Michael--I don't know where you live; but, there is a group in Kemah,TX called Bristol Boat Works that we have found to produce really beautiful work and reasonably priced. They are craftsmen. They put a new teak and holly floor in our 1986 Hunter Legend 40 this past winter and have done numerous small things for us, too.
