Navpod for my Catalina 30

I started building a Navpod a couple of months ago and I'm almost done, it's been a really fun little project. I'll post more pics once I'm done with it.

Nice start. I am looking to build something for my helm. Just am not sure of what way to go yet. What is the base made of?

I didn't build it bought it instead but quite functional.

Sorry got sidetracked for a couple of days... Here's the rest of the pics. The plug is made of pink board insulation foam, it's easy to cut and sand into whatever shape you want and won't melt if you use epoxy, polyester resin will melt it however.
